Dental Care

All on Four / Six

“All-on-4” and “All-on-6” are two different dental treatment methods related to dental implants. Both of them are used to provide fixed dental prosthetics to individuals who are missing all or a significant number of their teeth. These treatments aim to restore oral health, function, and aesthetics, improving the overall quality of life.

  1. All-on-4: “All-on-4” is a treatment method where only four dental implants are used to address all the missing teeth in one jaw. Dental implants are anchored into the jawbone, and a dental prosthesis (made of porcelain or zirconium) is placed on top of them. In this method, the dental implants are strategically placed in the appropriate areas of the jawbone, optimizing their position and angles. By using fewer implants, it is possible to overcome all the dental deficiencies effectively.
  2. All-on-6: “All-on-6” works on a similar principle to “All-on-4,” but it uses six dental implants. The use of more implants provides increased support and strength, enhancing long-term durability. This treatment option may be preferred depending on the condition of the jawbone.

Both All-on-4 and All-on-6 treatments require the integration and healing of the implants into the jawbone. The treatment process may vary depending on the individual’s situation. After the implants are placed, patients can return to their normal daily activities, but it may take a few months for the implants to fully integrate. At the end of the treatment, patients have a fixed dental prosthesis, allowing them to perform functions such as eating, smiling, and speaking normally. These treatments offer a more stable and natural solution compared to removable dentures.
